Linux Server Configuration
[ using Fedora ] 
Course Description :
You will get hands-on practice of configuring the following servers:
NIS, NFS, Samba, Apache, DNS, DHCP, Sendmail, FTP, SSH, Xinetd and the servers it monitors.
We will demonstrate how to secure your servers with tcp wrappers, and IP tables. We will explain file
protections,using access rights and sticky bits,and the invocation of Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM)
to protect your resources.
Intended for :
Those who are already familiar with the Linux commands and utilities and require knowledge and practice
of configuring and setting up servers, and securing and authenticating their users and servers.
Prerequisites :
Ideally, you should be familiar with Operating System commands used on Unix / Linux systems.
You should like troubleshooting and being under the bonnet so to speak.
It would help if you had experience with any other operating system e.g. Windows.

You will have an RHCE qualified and experienced teacher; course material and refreshment supplied.
We will deliver the course at your office and demonstrate on your local systems if required,
or you may bring along your own laptop.
