C++ Programming
[Optional C&G Level 2]
Course Description :
We will custom build this course for our corporate and daytime clients.
Our standard course will advance your career if you are new to programming or want to transfer
from some other languages.
Your tutor will emphasise good programming practice, problems and
pitfalls with your skill level in mind. The exam is of great benefit to
your learning curve - you will be well prepared, and you may sit each
section when you feel ready to do so. However, the exam is optional.
Intended for :
Anyone who requires a practical hands-on introduction to a most powerful and versatile programming language.
Prerequisites :
You need to have an interest/aptitude for programming, also a familiarity with computers and data processing. You will be taken step by
step through programming principles using the C/C++ language. You must enjoy writing small programs, both at home and in our training room.

- Know the syntax and semantics of the C/C++ Programming Language.
- Be able to write C/C++ programs using all the features of the language including :
- Understand data types, arithmetic operators, boolean expressions, flow control constructs,
- Be able to use pointers and aggregate data types.
- Know the scoping rules in C/C++.
- Be able to use the C libraries and understand the C Compilation process
Course Delivery :
Hardware configuration : choice of Borland C++, MS VISUAL C++. Unix Compiler
We will deliver the course at your office and demonstrate on your local systems if required,
or you may bring along your own laptop. You will have a mature experienced teacher.
Certification :
City and Guilds of London Institute, 7261-224 IT in 'Coding and Programming in C II' (OPTIONAL)
