This course shows you how to install, operate, and maintain the Linux operating system. You will learn how
to partition your disk (to dual boot with Microsoft Windows!), create File systems, add users, customise the
Linux X Windows, configure printers, perform backups, schedule jobs, set up firewalls and more....
Intended for :
Those who require knowledge of Linux architecture e.g. File Hierarchy System, Start-up procedures,
job scheduling etc. You will learn how to maintain the system through CLI (Command Line Interface) and
GUI (Graphic User Interface) This course will progress your career in the role of Technical Support,
Unix/Linux Administrator, or as a home user of Linux
Prerequisites :
An interest in learning about the functionality and features of the Linux Operating System. You must
like troubleshooting and working under the bonnet.

You will have an RHCE qualified and experienced teacher; course material and refreshment supplied.
We will deliver the course at your office and demonstrate on your local systems if required,
or you may bring along your own laptop. We will install Fedora on your laptop or dual boot it.
