XML (eXtensible Markup Language)

Description:

XML was created so that richly structured documents could be presented and used over the web. XML is a mother tongue for other markup languages. You can create your own markup language by basing it on XML. XML is easy to maintain. It contains only data and markup. Look comes from a separate stylesheet and links are separate. Compared to other languages that let you do what XML does, XML is simplicity itself. This hands on XML course presents a thorough introduction to creating, validating, transforming, and formatting XML data. The course covers structuring data with XML; validating that data with document type definitions (DTDs) and schemas; creating and viewing XML documents; and transforming XML documents with the XML Stylesheet Language (XSL, XSLT and XPATH). Extensive examples and demos are provided, as well as comprehensive hands on lab exercises that introduce the practical application of XML to business problems.

Prerequisites :

Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript or other Web Scripting language is required. You must like to spend time writing code either at our offices, or at home to reach your required level of competency.
